Cabin Après — Fine Art Greeting Cards

Where mountain adventures end, warm fires glow, and the best stories of the day begin.

Cabin Après captures the inviting warmth of a beautiful log cabin nestled among snow-covered pines in the mountains at twilight. As the last light fades from the winter sky and the evening chill settles over the landscape, golden light spills from the cabin windows, offering a welcoming contrast to the peaceful blues of the snowy forest.

There's something incredibly comforting about coming inside after a full day of mountain adventures. Whether you've been snowboarding, skiing, or exploring the winter wilderness, that moment of stepping out of the cold and into a warm, welcoming cabin is pure magic.

I wanted this painting to capture that wonderful feeling of après — the gathering afterward. The thought of a fire crackling in the hearth, delicious food cooking in the kitchen, and friends and family sharing laughter and stories from their adventures on the mountain.

The original artwork was a large 4' × 8' oil painting commissioned for a log home company. Working on such a grand scale gave me the opportunity to explore the beautiful contrast between the cool, quiet atmosphere of a winter evening and the rich, inviting glow of the cabin's interior.

Having spent so much of my life in the mountains, both growing up in the Lake Tahoe area and during my years as a professional snowboarder, I have a special appreciation for these moments. The adventures outside may be exhilarating, but the warmth, connection, and memories shared afterward are every bit as wonderful.

To me, Cabin Après is a celebration of mountain living, good company, and the simple pleasures of finding warmth and belonging at the end of an extraordinary day.

Whether you're sending winter greetings, holiday wishes, a heartfelt thank-you, or a little mountain coziness to someone special, these greeting cards are miniature pieces of art meant to be enjoyed, shared, and treasured.

Art to share. Warmth and mountain magic to send.
