Mano Niho — Fine Art Greeting Cards
A silent guardian beneath the surface, moving with the ancient rhythm of the sea.
Mano Niho captures the quiet power and grace of a shark gliding through the shallow waters of Hawaiʻi. Beneath the shifting light and gentle movement of the ocean, this magnificent creature moves with an effortless confidence that has always fascinated me.
Sharks hold a special place in Hawaiian culture, where certain sharks are revered as ʻaumākua—ancestral guardians and protectors of families. That spiritual connection, along with my own experiences encountering sharks in Hawaiian waters, brings a deeper meaning to this painting.
Created in transparent watercolor with beautiful gemstone pigments, the original artwork reflects my lifelong fascination with the ocean and the mysterious creatures that inhabit it. I wanted to capture the shark not as something to fear, but as a powerful and essential part of the living sea.
Whether you're sharing your love of the ocean, celebrating someone with an adventurous spirit, or sending a little aloha, these greeting cards are miniature pieces of art meant to be enjoyed, shared, and treasured.
Art to share. Aloha to send.
