Mele Kalikimaka — Fine Art Greeting Cards

A tropical Christmas greeting filled with island color, warmth, and aloha.

Mele Kalikimaka brings the spirit of a Hawaiʻi Christmas to life with a vibrant red ginger blossom surrounded by lush tropical greens. The rich colors and joyful composition capture the beauty of the islands during the holiday season — warm, bright, and full of life.

“Mele Kalikimaka” is the Hawaiian way to say Merry Christmas, and I love how this phrase carries both celebration and aloha. Instead of snow-covered scenes and evergreen boughs, this card celebrates Christmas with tropical beauty — the kind of holiday spirit that feels right at home in Hawaiʻi.

I've always thought red ginger was nature's own tropical Christmas decoration! With its deep crimson color, lush green leaves, and pinecone-like shape, it seems perfectly dressed for the holidays. I love how this beautiful flower brings together the traditional reds and greens of Christmas with the vibrant, tropical spirit of Hawaiʻi. Who needs a snowy pinecone when nature gives us something this festive right here in paradise?

Whether you're sharing Christmas greetings from Kauaʻi, sending a little sunshine to loved ones far away, or simply love the beauty of a Hawaiian holiday, these greeting cards are miniature pieces of art meant to be enjoyed, shared, and treasured.

Art to share. Aloha for the holidays.
