Pink Alpine — Fine Art Greeting Cards

A dreamy mountain twilight, where the last blush of sunset meets a sky overflowing with stars.

Pink Alpine captures an enchanting moment in the Sierra Nevada mountains, where soft pink and lavender hues mingle with luminous blues beneath a sky filled with sparkling stars. Silhouettes of towering pines rise along the horizon, creating a peaceful forest landscape beneath a celestial display of color and light.

I've always loved that magical transition between day and night in the mountains. As the sun disappears behind the Sierra peaks, the sky often takes on beautiful shades of pink, purple, and blue before giving way to the brilliance of the stars. There is something wonderfully peaceful about watching that transformation, surrounded by the quiet beauty of the forest.

In this painting, I decided to have a little fun with nature! I brought together the romantic colors of twilight and the dazzling abundance of a star-filled night, allowing the two to exist in one magical moment. Sometimes the joy of being an artist is having the freedom to paint not just what we see, but what we imagine and feel.

Pink Alpine is part of my Sierra Stars Series, a collection inspired by my lifelong love of the mountain forests and the extraordinary beauty of their night skies.

Created in transparent watercolor with gemstone pigments illuminating the stars, the original painting blends delicate washes of lavender, rose, indigo, and blue with countless shimmering points of light. I wanted the sky to feel alive with wonder, as though the last warmth of the day were gently dancing with the emerging magic of the night.

To me, Pink Alpine is a celebration of imagination, beauty, and the freedom to see the world through a little extra magic.

Whether you're sending birthday wishes, celebrating someone special, sharing encouragement, or sending a little mountain starlight across the miles, these greeting cards are miniature pieces of art meant to be enjoyed, shared, and treasured.

Art to share. A little twilight magic to send.
