Plumeria Go Round — Fine Art Greeting Cards

A joyful whirl of tropical color, where rainbow blossoms dance in a celebration of island beauty.

Plumeria Go Round captures the playful spirit of Hawaiian plumeria flowers through a vibrant swirl of color and movement. Brilliant shades of coral, orange, pink, yellow, and turquoise flow through the petals, creating a lively composition that feels almost as though the flowers are spinning in a tropical breeze.

I've always loved the graceful shape of plumeria blossoms, with their five delicate petals unfolding from a beautiful central point. In this painting, I wanted to take that natural elegance and give it a playful twist, transforming the blossoms into a colorful dance of flowing lines, whimsical patterns, and rainbow-inspired hues.

The original painting is part of my Silver Lining Series, where transparent watercolor is paired with metallic silver linework. The shimmering silver details weave through the composition, accentuating the movement of the petals and giving the artwork an extra dimension of light and energy.

My years as a tattoo artist have deeply influenced this series, especially my love of bold, flowing designs and the beautiful relationship between line and color. In Plumeria Go Round, that influence takes center stage. The stylized petals and decorative swirls have an almost tattoo-like quality, blending the precision and graphic energy of tattoo design with the luminous softness of watercolor.

There's something wonderfully carefree about this painting. It reminds me of the joy of simply playing with color, letting creativity flow, and discovering how much personality can emerge from the shapes and patterns found in nature.

Whether you're sending birthday wishes, celebrating a friendship, sharing a heartfelt thank-you, or simply brightening someone's day, these greeting cards are miniature pieces of art meant to be enjoyed, shared, and treasured.

Art to share. Aloha to send.
