Tahoe Trail — Fine Art Greeting Cards

A sunlit Tahoe path, glowing with the golden beauty of autumn.

Tahoe Trail captures the quiet charm of a mountain path in fall, where golden leaves catch the light and a graceful white-barked tree stretches across the scene. Surrounded by evergreens, boulders, and the soft shadows of the forest, this painting celebrates the peaceful beauty of autumn in the Tahoe landscape.

I have always loved the changing seasons in the mountains, and fall has its own special magic. The golden leaves, crisp air, and shifting light bring a warmth and richness to the forest that feels both energizing and peaceful. In this painting, I wanted to capture that inviting feeling of wandering along a Tahoe trail as the season begins to glow.

This painting also holds a very special place in my heart as a little tribute to my family. Growing up, we spent so much time hiking together, exploring the beautiful trails and forests around Lake Tahoe. Some of my fondest childhood memories are of those adventures with my parents, who shared their deep love and appreciation of nature with me. That love became one of the greatest gifts they ever gave me, and it continues to inspire my life and my art today.

Whenever I walk a Tahoe trail, I feel connected to those memories and to my parents. The familiar scent of the pines, the sunlight filtering through the trees, and the peaceful beauty of the forest always bring a little piece of my childhood back to me. In many ways, Tahoe Trail is a celebration of that lasting connection — to family, to nature, and to the places that help make us who we are.

Created in transparent watercolor, Tahoe Trail combines luminous autumn color with the cool serenity of the forest. I especially love the contrast between the bright yellow foliage, the dark evergreens, and the sunlit path leading into the scene. To me, it feels like an invitation to slow down, breathe deeply, and enjoy the beauty of the moment.

Whether you're sending a seasonal note, sharing a love of Lake Tahoe, or offering a little mountain beauty, these greeting cards are miniature pieces of art meant to be enjoyed, shared, and treasured.

Art to share. Autumn beauty to send.
