Tropical Paradise — Fine Art Greeting Cards

A bold burst of island color, alive with the beauty and spirit of the tropics.

Tropical Paradise celebrates the striking beauty of the bird of paradise flower — one of the most dramatic and unforgettable blooms of the islands. With its brilliant oranges, golden yellows, deep blues, and lush tropical greens, this flower feels like it holds all the colors of the rainbow in one magnificent display.

I have always loved the bird of paradise for its bold shape and vibrant personality. It feels both elegant and wild, almost like nature showing off. In this painting, I wanted to capture not only the flower’s vivid beauty, but also the rich, layered feeling of being surrounded by tropical foliage in Hawaiʻi.

Created in transparent watercolor, the original painting is filled with luminous color, flowing brushwork, and the lush energy of the tropics. The strong angles of the flower contrast beautifully with the broad tropical leaves, creating a composition that feels both lively and balanced.

Whether you're sending a birthday wish, a thank-you note, a message of encouragement, or a little piece of aloha, these greeting cards are miniature pieces of art meant to be enjoyed, shared, and treasured.

Art to share. Aloha to send.
